Any Muslim age 18+ in the U.S. can join.
No health or age restrictions.
30-day waiting period after joining. During this time you & your dependents will NOT be eligible for services. But you will participate in other members funerals
Coverage includes funeral home charges, Burial plot, Burial services including grave opening/closing.
Overseas funeral coverage currently not available.
We do NOT cover shipping dead-bodies abroad.

When a member passes away, the funeral cost is divided among all living members.
Each member contributes an equal share distributed among all members.
Funeral expenses (up to $8,000) are covered. keep in mind, coverage includes funeral home charges, Burial plot, Burial services including grave opening/closing.
FuneralShare makes payments ONLY to Funeral Homes and/or Grave Yards.

Explanation

Every time a registered member passes away, funeral expense (up to $8,000) is divided equally among all living active members.
The larger the community, the smaller the burden on each individual.
As membership grows, the per-member cost decreases dramatically—without reducing the funeral coverage amount.

2. Cost Sharing Model

When a registered member passes away, the cost of their funeral is divided equally among all active members. This means that:

With 1,000 members, a $8,000 funeral costs each person $8

With 4,000 members, it drops to $2 each

With 8,000 members, it’s just $1 per person

All members are notified, and the amount is deducted from their digital wallets. The deceased’s family does not need to fundraise or pay upfront.

3. Digital Wallet System

Each member has a digital wallet topped up with an initial deposit of $8/Member. When a death occurs, your share is automatically deducted from the wallet. Whenever your balance drops below $8/member, the system automatically tops it up to match $8 for every member including you and your dependents from your linked credit/debit card. You can monitor your balance and transaction history at app.funeralShare.org.

Documentation

Families must submit:

Death certificate
Funeral home & cemetery invoices
Proof of relationship (if needed)
